What a fun session I had last Wednesday!

I got to meet my first Doberman! (and those of you who know me, and know what an animal lover I am…can you believe I’ve NEVER met a doberman in person?!)

She was SO fun too! She reminded me of my puppy, only in a larger size body :D She made me laugh through the entire session ♥

And though the rain was a bummer (I had hoped to grab a few outdoor shots), we got some great studio shots!

Isn’t she beautiful?!

I’ve been meaning to do this for awhile now…drag out my camera and carry it around with me for a day.

I finally remembered to the other day, and while I didn’t remember until the afternoon and then put it up not long after that…I did get a few defining snapshots :)

Snapshots are something I need to remember to do more often…maybe I’ll make it a goal. I’ll start something here, perhaps, that will force me to take out my camera and just snap random pictures of my life as it is…

Snapshot Saturday perhaps.

Yes, that’s what I’ll do.

Snapshot Saturday.

It is close to Saturday right now afterall…it’s 11:38 PM.

So I might do this project again in the future (and correctly next time), but until then…here goes.

A Day in the Life of me. Trisha D.

I start the day between 6:15-6:30 AM (ideally 6:15, but that rarely happens haha) by getting up, rousing the dogs (they sleep with me in my bed) and making the bed.

I then zombie walk my way into the kitchen and start the coffee maker…or at least that’s how it’s supposed to go…sometimes I put in all the ingredients and then forget to turn the pot on…doh!

While the coffee is brewing, I make my way into the bathroom for a the morning ritual of showering, dressing, and brushing my teeth.

I go back to the kitchen get a cup of coffee and go to the living room to await my little buddy I babysit. You will hear him referred to as ‘Little Man’ or ‘G’ (or sometimes ‘G-Man’)95% of the time by me LoL

At around 6:55 he shows up, almost ALWAYS smiling. He’s so good natured!

We play and watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse until 7:30 and he is generally ready for his morning nap by this time.

So then we rock and snuggle for about a half hour ♥

He usually wakes up anywhere between 9:30-10:30…so while he naps I get breakfast for myself and the other 2 babies (AKA the dogs), get laundry started, check e-mail, edit photos, etc.

When he wakes up it’s time to eat! He’s just starting to have baby food and rice, so we’re having a good ‘ol messy time with it ;)

After eating, we play in the floor for about 2 hours. I read to him, we play nursery games (pat-a-cake, itsy bitsy spider, etc), watch and sing along with Playhouse Disney or Nick Jr., and have tummy time!

Then it’s nap time again! And so starts the circle again! (except he sleeps about an hour less, and I exchange my breakfast for lunch haha)

And 2 days a week we add a little girl to the mix (they are only 2 weeks apart in age!) Pictures of ‘Nay-Nay’ to come soon ♥

Had a great time last weekend visiting with a few of my friends from High School and photographing their hilarious puppy Ryko.

When you see the pictures I know you’ll say “Puppy?!”

Yes. That’s right. He is still a puppy! Not even a year yet!

And I just loved him so much!

And his only complaint? My studio was a little small to play in ;)

Just look at these pictures and tell me that you didn’t fall in love with his adorable face.

I won’t believe you.
