When I found out this weeks theme on I ♥ Faces was Purple, I knew that I would use one from this series Dee and the Purple Sunglasses. We did the entire shoot styled around these new sunglasses and it turned out SO well! We had such a great time too!

This week’s I ♥ Faces theme is “Over my Head” and when I read that, my mind automatically went to this photo…

I took it a few weeks ago at A’s 1 year old session and every time I look at it, I can’t help but smile. It is just one of those photos that makes my heart happy.

When I see it, I think of the laughter that I was hearing and the love that I was seeing when I clicked the shutter ♥

I’m sure you will all recognize this sweet girl She’s been featured on my blog twice before…once as a precious newborn baby, next as a happily growing 6 month old sweetie, and now as an on the go beautiful one year old!

I still can’t believe it’s been 1 year since I photographed her teeny tiny self…or 6 months since I last photographed her!

Oh how time flies!

We had so much fun photographing her one year photos with her mom, dad, and 2 aunts…what a beautiful family ♥

Then we had fun at the end of the session with a (cup)cake smash!

Wait…I’ve never happened to mention how much I love my job have I??
