So I’m sure quite a few of you have by now either heard of Harrison or met him…for those who have met him…I promise…he’s sweet once you get to know him…well…maybe not LOL But he isn’t quite as loud
Well Saturday (April 10) marked the date of his arrival into this big, scary world.
Yes…this past Saturday…Harry Buddy (as my niece so lovingly calls him) turned ONE YEAR OLD!
I know what you’re thinking…he’s a dog.
Well, yes, he is a dog, but he’s also my baby and he had to fight hard to make it a year!
You wouldn’t even believe the obstacles we had to jump over and through!
I started a blog for him when he was only days old…unfortunately…I didn’t keep up with it well (I generally DON’T keep up with my personal blogs well for some reason), but you can read about his entrance into the world. It wasn’t a particularly pleasant one
READ ABOUT IT HERE. You can also peruse the rest of the blog and read about his first 10 weeks…yeah…that’s as far as I made it LOL
But since then we’ve swallowed a hairbow (then pooped out a “gift wrapped” package..ew), learned to jump onto the couch (and fall off), had the traumatic experience of first being groomed, decided the ears should droop rather than perk (bc of course he HAS to be different than the other Cresties…I say it adds character), shaved off his cutie pie mustache (but it kept getting in his food…gross), started going on walks with the rest of the gang, and most recently ate a HUGE chocolate chip cookie (yeah…that was last Thursday…2 tbsp of Peroxide later it was safely barfed onto the floor though…another ewww…)
I wondered if we’d make it sometimes, but we did! We made it to ONE YEAR OLD and will hopefully make it to many many more birthdays
If he would just quit eating everything. in. sight. OY!
But without further ado…here is a collage I made….ONE YEAR of HARRISON! (and yes…it IS the SAME dog in all those pictures LOL)
Happy Birthday Hair-Bear!

Thank You Hilary!! It was so nice to meet both of you!! I had fun!

Thank You Jodi and Keith for letting me play with Ryko!
